This project with our client was to provide them with a softwood planing complex, which was completed in 2024. The client needed to process the following products: lumber from 1″ to 2″ thick, 3″ to 12″ wide, and 8′ to 16′ long. The planer has a capacity of up to 2700 FPM, so the equipment we supplied for this project had to process up to 200 pieces per minute.

Our equipment supply consisted of a continuous tilt hoist with two (2) elevators, a complete planer outfeed including the deceleration belt with its motorized brush, a complete trim line from the landing table up to the sorter including a 1×1 feeder, an Accu-Gate positioning fence, a pneumatic clutch, a multi-saw “line shaft” trimmer, a 90-bin continuous-chain vertical sorter, an evacuation system with haul outs, a mobile transfer, and finally a high-speed double-fork stacker line with its package outfeed.
